The MEGA-FLASH LOW PROFILE TORNADO LED BEACON is one of the brightest and most compact LED beacons available to the market.

    

The unit has been designed to provide an extremely bright 360 degree light output within a small enclosure yet also provides the option to combine two levels of colour within 1 shell with a split top/bottom polycarbonate shell (ideal for European and International customers).

We have three of the pole mounted Tornado beacons. They are mounted on our BMW Motorcycles. They are overall a good product but they have some issues.

Advantages: Very bright from almost any angle. Great visibility and when used in our application they greatly increase the visibility of officers controlling an intersection from a motorcycle.

Disadvantages: 1. There's no drain hole in the pole. Ours filled with water contributing to #2.
2. They fogged up due to the water in the pole getting up into the light head.
3. The poles do not always stay up. We raise and lower ours a lot. If you're going to leave them in one position or use one of the other applications it probably won't be an issue.
